    To hike
    From LaVeta; take state highway 12 (25 miles south) to county road 34, (travel 5 miles) to Purgatoire Campground. Turn into Northfork Trail. It is approximately 3.5 miles to the junction of Wildcat trail.
    Another Access is: From LaVeta; take state highway 12 (south) to county road 422, (travel 4 miles) to the Blue Lake Campground entrance, turn left off of FDR 436 and travel 1.5 miles to Northfork trailhead.
