Overview
Horse Ranch Trail #1397 is a 3.5 mile one way hike with 1,674 feet accumulated elevation gain. Located 39 miles southwest of Pueblo Colorado. September and June are the best months to enjoy this hike.


Trail starts at 8,580 feet and climbs to 10,100 feet a gain of 1,520 feet. The trail is open for Motorcycle use. It is not open for ATV use.

    To hike
    From Westcliffe, take State Highway 69 South. Go a little past Gardner and turn left onto Road 630. Head North until you reach the Horse Ranch Trailhead.
