Commanche Trail #1345 is a 4.95 mile one way hike with 3,477 feet accumulated elevation gain. Located 53 miles west-southwest of Pueblo Colorado. September and June are the best months to enjoy this hike.
Located in the Sangre de Cristo Wilderness the trail is moderate for hiking. Foot and horseback only. Difficulty: moderate. Beginning elevation is 9100’ and 11,720’ at Comanche Lake. Camping and stock are prohibited within 300’ of lakes and 100’ of streams in the wilderness area.
