 Likely In-Season!
This trail is in the Fourmile Travel Management Area, located northeast of Buena Vista, CO. This trail is a great day hike and a stop in the meadow for a picnic at the Swede's Camp log cabins.

The Davis Meadow trail climbs north winding up the hillside through fir and aspen forests to the green, grassy meadow. Several historic cabins are located near the meadow, remnants of the Swede's Camp. Local lore says that a group of Swedish loggers built the cabin and lived in them while cutting timber for the Midland Railroad which traveled through the Fourmile area near Trout Creek Pass.
