This is a neighborhood walk in Valley Center through some avocado and citrus groves, with nice views of Palomar Mountain across Pauma Valley. It is suitable year-round, but in summer early morning will be best due to heat.

To walk/tour From Escondido, take Valley Parkway East. It becomes Valley Center Road. Follow this to Cole Grade Road. Follow this until you can turn left onto McNally. Park anywhere off to the side, and start walking along the road.
