Likely In-Season!
Hike Inn Trail is a 6.25 mile one way hike with 812 feet elevation gain. Located 44 miles east-southeast of Dalton Georgia. October and April are the best months to enjoy this hike.

The Hike Inn trail goes past the Hike Inn (, a state park resort that can only be accessed by this trail. The Hike Inn serves breakfast and dinner and offers leftovers throughout the day to hikers on donation basis.

Starting and ending points are along the Appalachian Approach Trail and thus offer a nice alternative. The trail crosses several creaks and offers a vegetation variety that is different from the Approach Trail.

Check out the Official Route.
