This moderate trail to Tahquitz Peak Lookout and the Pacific Crest Trail begins at 6800 ft. with an elevation gain is 2000 ft. Hikers experience breathtaking views of the Desert Divide, Strawberry Valley and beyond. Hiking during the summer is recommended for morning hours as it can be hot and dry later in the day.
