Overview
Shasta Bally Trail is a 5.2 mile one way hike with 4,317 feet elevation gain. Located 11 miles west of Redding California. May and October are the best months to enjoy this hike.


Constant uphill trek along a service road for 4WD vehicles.

This is a difficult hike. Arrive fit and prepared or this could get ugly.

    To hike
    From Redding, take Highway 299 to the J.F. Kennedy Memorial Drive. Drive 4.2 miles and take a left at Brandy Creek Camp Road. It's another 2.6 miles to the trailhead at Sheep Camp.
