Canyons are inherently risky. Flash floods occur without notice on sunny days. Technical skills & surrounding topography knowledge required yet does not eliminate risk. Canyoneering Consensus → View 9 ← | Grade | 3 |

Overview: 3BI canyon on hwy 9 in Zion. Easy canyon for beginners. You will need about 1 60 foot rope, maybe slightly less and a full set of canyoneering gear (helmet, harness, biner, rappelling device.) Wetsuits are recommended as Keyhole stays quite cold even during warmer months. Get your canyoneering permit from the backcountry office.
