This trail is a great connector for many popular destinations. The trail enters Roaring River Wilderness. It begins at Forest Road 5830 adjacent to Hideaway Lake Campground, travels to Shellrock Lake, and continues to its terminus at Frazier Turnaround.
When hiking several trails on a single "hike", log it with a generic name that describes the hike. Then link the trails traveled, check out the example.

To hike To Hideaway Lake Campground and Shellrock Lake trailhead:
From Estacada, OR - go approximately 24 miles southeast on OR 224 then 7 miles east on Forest Road 57 then 3 miles north on Forest Road 58, and 5 miles west on Forest Road 5830.
