The mountain north of Dubrovnik, Croatia, reached by most tourists via a nifty and fast gondola from just above the old town walls, is hikable via a rocky trail with many switchbacks from Jadranska cesta (the closest street).
Highly recommended because of the stunning views of Dubrovnik Old Town along the way. At the top is the gondola station, a restaurant, touristy shops, and the remains of a Napoleonic fortress built in 1810.

The tourist guides warn against bushwhacking along the hillside because of unexploded ordnance from the 1990’s war. Honestly, reaching the top of Mt. Srd while visiting Dubrovnik, either by trail or gondola, is a must-do because of the unparalleled views of the city, Lokrum Island, and the Dalmatian Coast line.
When hiking several trails on a single "hike", log it with a generic name that describes the hike. Then link the trails traveled, check out the example.
