Time to get cross
Mountain biking can be dangerous - please know your skill level and be appropriately prepared with PPE before starting any trail.
This short trail takes you from the base of the Miramonte Rim connector up to where the Clunker Trail connects into the Holy Cross trail.
The upcanyon route starts where the Miramonte Rim connector drops down from the canyon rim above. The trail continues along the same path as the Clunker segment before this - paralleling the north canyon wall. About a tenth of a mile past the Miramonte junction, a trail takes off to the south, across the canyon. This is the Bunker trail and allows an easy connection between the Clunker and Holy Bucket trails.
The trail offers views of the Morrison Formation as it winds along, along with the many expensive houses that dot the rim. Eventually, the trail crosses a broad side-branch and rises towards some isolated boulders near the base of a peninsula. This is the junction with the Holy Cross trail. Turn left to continue upcanyon and eventually meet up with the Holey Bucket trail on the south side of the canyon, or turn right to access the Miramonte Rim or the Lunch Loops area.
A seasonal creek exists, but it is best to bring your own.
