This scenic trail climbs up the east side of the Pine Valley Mountains to a ridge that overlooks Zion National Park and the Hurricane/Washington area. Cameras are a must! The trail switches back through Gamble Oak and boulders. This area can be very hot in the summertime; with limited water and abundant rattlesnakes, hikers need to use caution.

Most of this trail is located in the Pine Valley Mountain Wilderness, so please remember to practice Leave No Trace ethics. This is a difficult trail and is 3 miles one way, but the views are rewarding.

Leave No Trace and +Add a Triplog after your hike to support this local community.
