Hike
Closet parking is located at (N 33° 34.952 W 111° 46.509), there are no "No Trespassing Signs" so you should be fine. You can hike to the summit and back in about half a mile if you make a beeline from you car to the summit. It will probably take you a bit longer as you have to avoid cacti, loose rocks, and wildlife on the way up.

From parking, there is a wash that you will follow for about ~0.1 miles. This is the easiest park of the hike as you will now gain ~500 feet in ~0.2 miles. There is no trail here so you have to bushwack your way up to the summit. There are a lot of loose rocks, cacti, and if you are lucky you might see a snake.

Once you make it to the top you are greeted to some amazing 360 degree views of Scottsdale, Fountain Hills, and the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community. You can also see Four Peaks, Camelback Mountain, and the Thompson Peak Radio Towers from here.

On the way down, be careful to not step on any cacti or loose rocks. Once you make it back down, you follow the wash back to where you parked you vehicle.

Leave No Trace and +Add a Triplog after your hike to support this local community.
