Overview
Completed in 2002, this multi-use, landscaped and illuminated path generally tracks north to south with the Ken McDonald Golf Course on its north and west sides and the SRP Kyrene Generating Station to its east. South of Elliot Road, it mostly passes between neighborhoods.

Multi-use Route
The 'start' is at a bridge near the KMGC clubhouse or the Western Canal's mile 8.2, if one travels from the east from Lindsay Road in Mesa. The official route's paved/gravel southern terminus is at the southwest Tempe border of Kyrene and West Knox Roads.

One may cross the road, follow the city sidewalk south, and eventually continue southwest on an undeveloped track for another mile to West Linda Lane in Chandler, where the route becomes more obscure within a neighborhood. A roundtrip distance of just the concrete path is 4½ miles, but 6½ miles total if one includes the Chandler section.
