Expand MapOverview
One of the shared-use pathways of the Flagstaff Urban Trails System (FUTS) located on the far west side of the city near the McAllister Ranch historical landmark. The eastern terminus of this track links up with the Tunnel Springs Trail and the Flagstaff Loop Trail at the railroad track underpass near FR506 (9012L). This area accesses the south side parcel of the Observatory Mesa Natural Area that can be used to connect to other FUTS paths.

Synopsis
This specific trail has an unpaved surface which can be icy, muddy and wet as it passes through Ponderosa Forest and meadows. Popular with neighborhood dog walkers and frequently noisy from the constant trains traveling both directions on the double tracks nearby.
