Trail from Broadway TH to Peralta TH area

I know there is a newer trail which runs from the Broadway TH to the Peralta TH area ...... but what is the name of the trail(s)? ..... can't seem to find any info on the trail w/o knowing it's name.

Purchased one of the Orange SPOT locator/trackers ... wondering how best to carry it so it does not interfere with my movements but is in a position to maintain sat. contact for tracking ... any suggestions. Thanks.

Thanks for the comments. I, like Al, had a very old but great pair of original Vasque Sundowners (burgandy with light tan tounge) but after my broken ankle healed last year found I could no longer wear them (too tight). Went with the new Sundowner because of experience with the old ones and a prefer...

Breaking in leather boots

Have a new pair of Vasque all leather boots. Wondering if anyone has any suggestions for shortening the break in period? Possibly a leather conditioning oil of some type? Other suggestions?

Thanks to everyone for the comments and ideas. As soon as ankle/foot is back to normal will be checking out boots suggested. Intend to start using dual hiking sticks also.

When doing the Salome Jug how difficult is it to get down into the creek bed/canyon?

Where is a good place to enter (climb down into) the creek bed/canyon?

Thanks for the responses guys. You'd think at 65 I'd have these things worked out by now but this hiking/camping thing had to wait until I retired.
