Thanks Roxx. I've got a stock Liberty Renegade so it is 4WD but doesn't have the greatest clearance in the world. Hey Folks:
Does anybody have experience getting into The Maze District at Canyonlands National Park? I'm trying to decide between accessing by way of the Flint Trail or the Land of Standing Rocks jeep road from Hite Marina. Anyone been on either?

No intent to demean Mr. Kelsey. I've made great use of his blue book (CO Plateau). Just galling that he's in so much better shape at nearly twice my age
Have to factor in about 50% more time and effort than his trail write-ups imply.

Howdy Pua: I did Davis Gulch and 50 Mile Canyon up the Escalante from Lake Powell about the same time last year. Temps were no problem, mild days and chilly (but pleasant) nights.
