Miller and Carr Peak June 15th

Hey folks, I haven't been very active on the site here, especially since moving to Colorado, but am still an active hiker! I'm looking for some company on 9,470' Miller Peak next weekend (probably with a quick sidetrip to Carr Peak), via trails 107 and 103, starting at the Reef townsite on the north...

I would be down for September as well perhaps, work permitting (if I have it by then). I'm also hoping to do Whitney late August, and the permit system just seems so ridiculous my friend and I are considering just doing the 60-mile backpack from the south/west. At least we'll have a chance to acclim...

Offhand, a couple of nice short (but still somewhat steep) hikes are Piestewa Peak in Phoenix, and the Siphon Draw trail up to the rock bowl in the Supes.
