Outdoor loving beer company!

Wow, my dream of opening a brewing company is so close. This past few months has been crazy, and I hope in the years to come I see all of you having a fine pint of AZWBC with me at the pub. Our kickstarter funding project link is the best to get more info for now. http://www.facebook.com/azwbc on Fa...

Re: Fossil Creek video on front page news

Honestly of the 5 or 6 times I've been, never have I seen a zoo like in the video. That requires action of some sort, but oh what a fine line that is.

Fossil Creek video on front page news

Just found this video link on Yahoo.com's front page http://news.yahoo.com/video/science-15749654

Of course this is a huge Arizona topic/debate, I am only sharing this because I found it interesting to make "front page news"of such a huge news source.

Re: Mazatzal Backpack Thanksgiving Break

I'm committed for Friday, although I don't know exactly what I'm going to do. I'll be able to get to 25A easily in my truck, so at the very least I'll just hike in from there. However, that's not preferred, as roundtrip just to the base of Sheep Mountain and back looks to be in the range of 10-11 m...

Re: Missing hiker in Mazatzals - gpsjoe (Joe Domin)

This has been a tough story to follow on a very busy week. Just know your efforts are GREATLY appreciated. I know there are many more ppl like me who can't give time to search, and are thinking positively about the time and efforts given. If needed, I will be joining the efforts next weekend if all ...

What a great weekend! The shots so far are amazing...wow! That was such a great mix of people, couldn't have asked for more. I feel VERY virile after this trip, there will certainly be more of these in the future.

And remember what happens in Hart Prairie stays in Hart Prairie :D

As far as tents, I have that covered (in case anyone wanted to sleep in one or doesn't have one)...when we get to Safeway we can talk about food and other needs. Re: HAZ Fall Photo Workshop

From the sounds of it...Joel drove everywhere he could to find suitable shots today. It was patchy but, as Jim said, with two nights of freezing temps at least it cant get worse. Its always a challenge in AZ, thats why this fits right in as a standard photo shoot in this state(again staying positive...

Re: HAZ Fall Photo Workshop

Yesterday I headed north and met up with Joel (he is on Fall break and staying up there for the week, with no internet access) The storms blocked the I-40 at the Hart Prairie section, with no word if hart prairie road itself was closed. ( * The ADOT website seemed to be pointing to it being cleaned ...

Re: HAZ Fall Photo Workshop

Great news.... after this gross high pressure system moves out of the SW, a new system of low pressure moves in sometime Sunday evening. This will probably mean the first freeze around the peaks which, of course, is A much needed occurance for those fall colors! I'll admit i was getting worried :sca...

Re: HAZ Fall Photo Workshop

The one question I have is about the sleeping situation. We originally intended it to be a car camp that has a sunset shot within hiking distance to the camp. I still believe that is the situation. I have a 6 person tent, and I am sure we will have plenty of tent/truck bed space between everyone. T...
