Re: Reavis Ranch from Rogers TH
Just got back from a day hike here. The road does appear to be recently graded. Very doable by car all the way to the trail head. The trail also recently went trough some maintenece in the past 1-2 weeks. It was in the best condition from the times I have been here previously. Barely any water until...

Re: Hikes in Kauai
I know that most of Ke'e Beach is currently closed, because of washed out section. Unsure if the access to Kalalau Trail is restricted. http://thegardenisland.com/kee-jpg/image_7430bb4c-5904-56e7-a930-2d726308f2ed.html They should have this repaired soon as this is a popular attraction. Our goal is ...

Re: Hikes in Kauai
We too are headed to Kaua'i very soon. I would ask around about current conditions though. Last week there was around 50 (yes fifty) inches of rain. From what I read a lot of areas are still closed. (Mostly on the northside of the island)

I threw around a lot seeds last fall in my backyard, they all are coming up now and thick. But I can't offer much of a hike unless you want to walk in a circle 200-300 times.

Re: HAZ Photo Calendars
Thought of sending one to Arizona Highways with a note that reads "When you get bored looking at roads here's something to brighten your day" Funny you said that. I got my four calendars that I ordered. However I only received 1 box of cards out of 3 that I ordered from AZ Highways today....

Re: Fall Colours 2007
I was on Hart Prairie yesterday and it was a mixed bag. Some trees are still green, some trees completely bare, others at various stages of autumn glory… Absolutely perfect weather yesterday with clear skies, a chill in the air, but NO WIND! Second guessed Hart Prairie. Decided to stay in the valle...

Re: looking for a 2-3 day hike near sedona
In response to prescottlover's reply: The trail head is somewhat easy to find. From Sedona head south on Highway 179 to just past mile marker 305. There will be a small dirt lot just east of the road with a gate about 50 ft from the road, go though the gate and there should be plenty of space to pa...
