HAZ rally post from a few years ago

How do I find the post about a rally that, if I'm not mistaken, never happened. It would have been a GPS centric event that the competitors attempted to traverse Arizona N-S or S-N on dirt only. I have had health issues that required me to switch to pretty much wheels only to explore my Home State a...

Re: Redflex Corruption

The stupid thing about it is that I was looking for their OTHER revenue generator(speed cameras) when I got complacent and crossed into the intersection like a millisecond late.

Re: Redflex Corruption

@hikeaz I haven't received anything in the mail and I'm parking in the garage. I'm sure not going to answer the door for anyone I don't know for 90 days. I'm also pretty sure that Tatum and Lincoln isn't Scottsdale but Paradise Valley. I'm told that the server can't drop serve by taping it to your ...

@The_Eagle
Thanks but, judging by the posted route I'm not sure if this is who i was talking about as they seem to have been east of Cedar Basin rd by quite a bit. It's sure a beautiful area,

Re: Trying to get rolling on HAZ again

So, I wasn't hiking but looking for new areas to get to. I had been studying Cedar Basin Road along the Hell's Gate Wilderness border for a while and just got out there today. There was a HAZer camped along the road swingin in a hammock but I didn't have time to stop so I waved as I went by. Gray To...

💩.....HAHAHAHAHA I thought of you Alston when I took the road from Table Mesa rd to the base of New River Mesa. My noob status in my Jeep and the fact that there isn't much of a place to turn around on the climb, I decided against proceeding further

Trying to get rolling on HAZ again

I've taken several years off this site and I'm trying to get familiar with it again. Lots of stuff has changed here but I think I'm getting a handle on it. I haven't been hiking much because I lost my job and hadn't found something that gives me the freedom to pursue the outdoors for more than a few...

What's the name of the trail that is down range from the shooting range at South Mountain? I like the snowflakes on the page, I thought my eyes were screwing with me.

Re: road conditions up Mormon Mountain?

Roads are in OK condition. There may be a few blowdowns on the roads though. I heard a few when I was up there.

road conditions up Mormon Mountain?

I'm planning to drive up Mormon mountain on Thursday 9-26 using Fr 240, 132A and Fr 648 to just before the radio towers where the Kachina trail meets 648. I am wondering if anyone has had recent first hand experience with road conditions. My uncle is coming to town and renting a sedan and I'd like t...
