Paria Canyon
I'm going into Paria Canyon the end of the month at the Wire Pass entrance. From what I understand there is a significant rock jam along the way. What I want to know if is necessary to carry some climbing rope to get over the jam. Thanks in advance. Tim D

Grand Canyon alternative
I am planning to hike into the Grand Canyon, North Rim, this coming September. That is if I can get permits. If I can't get the permits does anyone have suggestions for an alternative hike. I am figuring on a three or four day excursion. Thanks in advance. Tim D.

two day hike
I could use a little advice, I'm going to be in the Phoenix area the end of Sept. I'd like to do a two day hike, within an hour or so of Phoenix. Although I'd go further if it's worth it. I'd appreciate your two cents, anyone. Thanks in advance. Tim D

water quality
I would like an informed opinion. I am camping out at Havasu canyon this April. I was wondering
about the water quality at the campground, would a water purification system be advisable?
Also, what could I expect the temperatures to be at night time? Thanks in advance! Tim from MA

havasu canyon camping
Need a little help here. I've tried contacting Havasu canyon to reserve a camp site, the number I called is no longer in service. The numbers I tried were 520 448-2121 and 520 448-2141. Both were no good. If anyone knows of a good number please let me know. Thanks in advance. Tim

Hikes near Camp Verde
Just thought I'd make a recommendation. Boynton Canyon just outside Sedona is a terrific hike. About three miles out and back. It's worth the trip, particularly when you get to the end of the canyon. Good hiking! Tdada

I was wondering if anyone out there has heard of it or been there? If you have, I would appreciate any in...
