Yes there are places for both ground and hammock camping, the photo below was taken probably about 5 miles below the spring (I was under an overhang waiting out a brief rain shower). Fantastic canyon!

Re: Wet Beaver Canyon Loop, AZ :: Hammock Camping
There are a couple of topics on this in the forum already.
The most important one being the large area which is closed to camping. (Everything from the trailhead to 1/2 mile upstream of the crack)
See viewtopic.php?t=4128
Here's another one worth reading through:
viewtopic.php?t=3933
And posts 4 and 5 in this one might be relevant:

On the homepage there is a purple search box on the right side (it says "Search HAZ" in it). It's a great place to find information on site. I searched "Wet Beaver Camping" to come up with the threads posted above.
Please post a triplog and photos from your trip. It's an awesome area!

I'm not sure what my spirit animal is, but I'm confident it has rabies.

@chumley
@Chumley, thanks for the search box info. So I've saved/printed the map with the camp restrictions... I guess I'll do the loop, camp beyond the restricted area (East) then continue all the way out the next day.
