Sorry for this basic question.
Is a "shuttle hike" a hike from one place to another (not a loop-type hike that takes you back to the beginning)?
Is there more to it than that?
Is there a glossary somewhere?

Basicly it when you need two vehicles. You drop one off at end of the hike and drive together to the beginning. And hike to the vehicle at the end and drive back to the first vehicle and everyone goes their separate ways.
