Doesn't seem like anybody has actually been there since the last storm, so I will simply mention that even in the most sheltered north-facing nooks there can't be much in the way of an obstacle right now (maybe mud?).
It rained at over 8000 feet last weekend and there is no snow on the ground even at 7500 feet right now (in open forest). The high point on that road is under 6200 feet. I want to say I'd be surprised if there is ANY
snow at all up there, but you truly never know on some of those high elevation north-facing slopes. But this winter hasn't provided any substantial snows where there would have been deep drifts that have frozen and will be there til spring. I don't think any single snowfall in the mazzies has been over 6", and there may have been only two of those!
If it was me, I'd make the trip without any concern at all.
