The innovation is incredible. I love the MSR Tent. I might get the JetBoil system. I have the Yeti Rambler Tumbler. I use the 30oz, gave a 20oz to my son and I ordered 3 more 20oz Ramblers as gifts for my family.

Re: New Gear innovations 2015
Some great stuff in that review. Most of it I'd never use, but that JetBoil looked pretty promising. Would have to give up my 30 year old Coleman 3 burner. I too got some Yeti Tumblers a few days ago. Use it every day now. The 30 oz is great for cold stuff. The 20 oz is my new road coffee mug. Just stays hot almost too long.

Bikers - I probably should have put this one up here in this topic. If you ride a bicycle at night it is too awesome. The Lumos Helmet.
I showed this to two people at work and I think one colleague is ordering 4 of these. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/81 ... cle-helmet
Don't anyone say I am an old fart and out of it or I will come over there and whomp a Ronda Rousey on you
Actually I will just probably bring Chompies Bagels and schmear and negotiate a settlement with you. But that is what I have become. Can you say John Kerry?

Just to be a velo nazi, bikers ride motorcycles, cyclists ride bicycles. Now back to the previous topic...Al_HikesAZ wrote:Bikers - I probably should have put this one up here in this topic. If you ride a bicycle at night it is too awesome. The Lumos Helmet.

Re: New Gear innovations 2015
Noted a couple of new items that I may be interested in. May add an unscreened gazebo for camping. I just replaced my canvas on my popup camper. Adding some larger panniers for bicycle camping, did not purchase the lighted bicycle helmet but did purchase a bicycle helmet that is woodland camo.

How difficult will it be to obtain propane canisters on the trail? It has become illegal to mail them thru the post office due to fire hazard. I suppose I could GPS them somewhere.

Here's an alternative to that overseas-made tent: http://zpacks.com/shelter/duplex.shtml - get it in blue cuben for high-vis snow camping!
that Berghaus windshell looks swift.. but i think it is actually 2.6oz not 3.5 as advertised. cool, right?
finally, Dutch Ware products should have made that list.. at least 5 times. hangers have got to see his site for all the fancy bobs and bits made for hammock suspension.
