2013 Subaru Junker/parts: Cash Only!
My AZ vehicle registration is up in a few weeks, so I am making an attempt to sell my Subaru.
For Sale: 2013 Subaru Outback Green color, 31,750 miles, tires have about 20,000 miles, and the 30,000 mile work was recently performed. It is a 2.5i Premium trim line. Winterized package if you go to Flagstaff or the White Mountains.
Kelly Blue Book puts it's value at about $21,600.

And the overly-vocal atheists that are determined to discredit people who are obsessed with Jesus are often more annoying, pushy, and overbearing than those crazy religious types.Jim_H wrote:The way some Subaru people talk about their cars and have sick loyalty about them reminds me of a cult, or people obsessed with Jesus.

Re: 2013 Subaru Junker/parts: Cash Only!
The "finding Jesus" crowd is just an example of religious or other converts who have an unbridled enthusiasm for their found salvation, joy, cause, or whatever. I don't know if people find atheism, or not, but I will agree that people who forcibly want to convert for any cause are annoying, as is anyone who wants to persuade someone else to subscribe to their ideology is always annoying, be they Vegan (especially Vegan), but also paleo ( many people on some of those websites are no different than the aggressive Vegans), evangelical Christian, or whatever else.
It's important to note, that I want to spread my anger, which is both different and is much more fun, as it builds strength and power. I don't care if you happen to believe it, or not.
Oh, I and you can thank John9L for opening this dead thread. I was leaving it in the other car thread as an update to the never ending issued my PoS Subaru has had, since I drove it off the lot!!!!
As it turns out, I was, in the words of the Camelback Rep, "given a load of B.S.", by Tucson Subaru. They put it up on the lift and found a rock in a shield cover, rattling around. Why the Tucson Rep chose to tell me there was an ongoing problem with the engine and spark plugs, makes no sense.
Still hate Subarus and I don't want to meet people who like them. However, I'd still sell mine to anyone who makes a reasonable offer, you know since these are "great cars".

Don't blame me blame yourself. You post a car for sale to the HAZ community and then call it a Lemon in another thread. I see that as trying to take advantage of someone on HAZ. I originally told someone about your Suby that was in the market for a car. I then find out this car is a Lemon. Imagine how I would have felt if the person actually bought your car. That's where I was coming from and why I posted bringing this thread back to life.Oh, I and you can thank John9L

Oh please, you sound like Todd, don't patronize me. If anyone even opened the thread they would see Todd's emmediate troll response and not be interested in the car. Sure, you told someone about my car, who? And why? Do you hate them? You live with Todd, you knew full well about my car and it's continual problems, don't back pedal and lie. He tells everyone he ever talks to all the personal details of the people he knows, he told me lots about you, so how do you expect me to even consider that you were ignorant of my car's issues. How stupid do you think I am, beyond the purchase of a Subaru 2 years ago.John9L wrote:Don't blame me blame yourself. You opened the thread back up, except the blame for yourself.

this is about as much 9L's fault as Subaru drivers, vegans, and christians are at fault for jim's general disposition.

I make no apologies for my disposition, nor do I care to, nor do I care to interact with you further. I see I have now run afoul of the Tempe Alcoholic crowd, who gangs up on people, instead of ignoring things that they could. This could literally go on for days.Tough_Boots wrote:this is about as much 9L's fault as Subaru drivers, vegans, and christians are at fault for jim's general disposition.

Re: 2013 Subaru Junker/parts: Cash Only!
I honestly didn't know about your car's problems. I told a friend that is not part of the HAZ community. Their identity is not important. I generally ignore your rants on the forum. I'm sorry I got into it with you in the first place. This is going nowhere and I'll go back to ignoring your rants and complaining. And I don't live with Todd. Yes I'm friends with him. Contrary to your belief I don't conspire with him against you. I have better things to do with my time like actually planning quality hikes with friends.you knew full well about my car and it's continual problems, don't back pedal and lie
Go ahead and rant away I'll ignore it

Re: 2013 Subaru Junker/parts: Cash Only!
Jim, did you list your car for sale on craigslist or some other sites? If people love Suburus and you made the repairs, you should not have a problem selling it.
Also, I'm not sure what kind of car you're looking to buy, but I drove a Nissan Rogue in MT in 2012 and it averaged 32mpg and was all-wheel drive. Plus, it drove well, and I was able to sleep in it comfortably.
I'd buy a Rogue, but i'm poor.

Re: 2013 Subaru Junker/parts: Cash Only!
No, Camelback Subaru did that. It was so simple, it barely took any time at all once they put it on the lift and poked around. I asked Tucson Subaru about this about a year ago and was told it was a spark plug issue, with some pretty specific details. Problem solved? Yes, this particular loud rattle is gone. There is a chance, that if they had looked into it instead of lying to me about it and there had been no rattle for the last year, that I might like the car. I probably would, but they chose to make up a fabulous lie instead of look in the heat shield. Rather, one individual who was "my rep" as assigned to me, chose to make up that lie.Joel Hazelton wrote:Yes, he took the rock out of the shield cover, problem solved

Re: 2013 Subaru Junker/parts: Cash Only!
@Joel Hazelton
No, as in the first month the sun glass holder fell down and stayed down (replaced), I'm on my third set of tires, with 1 tire being a 4th, the engine continually knocks, and in general I do not like most everything about the car; handling, economy, performance, and on and on and on. It is pretty comfortable, though, compared to my worn out seat in my former 10 year old car. Reading on the internet of all the blown head gaskets, noises, and other issues they have, I still regret the purchase.
However, more to your point, no not so long as I don't get a rock in some nook that rattle, but maybe if I take it to a dealer, ask about the problem, and am not told a fanciful lie that only furthers my disdain for the car as inferior and unreliable. Perhaps, if the dealer checks a problem at face value instead, as was done today, then I might not have hated it so much.
