I suck at "Deer Hunter".
Did better at the cop-type shooters.
I remember having an Avalon-Hill forest management board game. (Gotta look it up, or it will bug the hell out of me ...) "Outdoor Survival"! That's it! ( http://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/ ... r-survival ) Memory a bit off, but I had the general idea. I actually had that game at one point.
I also remember specifcally playing an ASCII video game back in the late 80s / early 90s. Yep, only took a few minutes to track that down: "Fire Fighter" ( http://www.mobygames.com/game/dos/fire-fighter_ ... link at the bottom to download.)
