Any snow updates- passages 18 and higher?
Hello, it's been warm for the last couple of weeks. Just wondering if anyone has snow reports for passages 18 and higher- Superior and further north? Thanks

I'd be curious about the sky islands too if anyone knows.

I just did Temporal Gultch (Santa Ritas) and it was completely free of any snow. It's the lowest of the sky island bunch, though.
I didn't see any snow up on Miller peak when I was down there, but there could still be some hiding in the shade.
Didn't get to see Rincon or Lemmon because it was dark when driving by.

There are 3 guys that started in mid-Feb that are now as far as Kearny. Seems they've had some short stretches of no more than ankle deep snow, but nothing to worry about, and it could very well be gone or mostly gone by now.

I am still mulling over my weekend plans, but may have an update for the Mazzys for you on Sunday evening, two other HAZers going in to Horse Camp Seep today, they will most likely give a report on snow conditions along divide as well...

The Divide was almost clear of snow when I was there last week. Patchy on the north faces, but I'm willing to bet pretty much all gone now. 2 hikers who came by when we were working near the Barnhardt TJ said there was still a fair amount of snow on Peelys north face, but again I'd be willing to bet its probably all gone or atleast the trail is free of snow now.
Unless another storm rolls through I honestly wouldn't be concerned will snow at all along the trail, except for Mica Mountain, only because I havnt seen it for myself.
I'm wondering how the water situation is going to look in a few months if we don't get another storm...

Cool! Sounds like I won't need to bring light crampons. One less thing to carry.
But what about north of the Grand Canyon, in the Kaibab. Or is that snow melting out too?

#26 & #27 are free of snow. Not sure about Blue Ridge or Mormon Lake though.

If there is no struggle, there is no progress.

Thanks everyone for all the updates. Looks like Snotel shows average snow pack is around 40% in Arizona now.

I just drove down to Phoenix via 89 - past the North Rim and through Flagstaff. Flagstaff had no snow and what was left by Jacob Lake was melting quick and was patchy. I'd predict very little snow if any by the time most people hit that area. Hopefully a few storms drop some much needed snow around Flagstaff to make sure water remains reliable up there.

I was up on the mogollon rim today by Knoll Lake. Lots of snow. I would guess Fred Haught still has plenty.
