Looking for my 100th HAZ hiking partner

Post by BobP »

About 67,219,200 seconds ago....I joined HAZ. As I type, the seconds will turn to minutes and...NEways during that time, I've hiked with 39 registered HAZ members. PM if you want to hike this Friday and be number 40 or if you've already hiked with me and "still" want to do a hike. I hear the wildflowers are nice in the McDowells now. :whistle:

@BobP
Have fun be safe and make sure your partner carries the big shovel.
Btw I talked to a patroller in Breck on the lift the yesterday and they bomb and blow up more stuff than any other resort in the US 40000+ lbs of explosives a year. Not because of the amount of snowfall, but because of wind loading.

I don't know if the OP is still an active user, but he's down below 100 and will have to reacquire. ](*,)

So I'd like to step up in his absence. I need 7 more, and there are a bunch of you not on the list that should be. Events will be forthcoming. Would a summer hazfest be cheating? :-k

@chumley
I like the sound of a summer get together, I should probably try and be more social and actually meet a few of you folks one of these days...it would be nice to pick up a few more hiking partners.

@chumleyDo you really want to run the risk of loosing some yourself?
There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."

I thought this was in one of the self-momentum or hazolution threads, but apparently rlrjamy made this one back in 2010.

I needed 7 for a hunj but managed to tack on 20. :y:
May 2017 bring a few more.

Wow, BobP just crashed once he hit his Benji mark!
There's no pie chart for this one, so I could be missing somebody, but I think Joe has fallen to #2, trailing by half a dozen. Tibber might be in line for the bronze...

Now I just need to figure out why so many of them are one and done. :-k Is it something I said!? :lol:

@chumley The bigger question is, why have so many of us hiked with you more than once?
Stop crying and just go do the hike.
