Hey all...Planning a weekend backpacking trip. Here is what I am looking for. Any suggestions?
Im not picky but water for filtering is a must. AZ, NM, nothing crazy, Ill be taking a newbie and of course my trusty Doberman. 8-10 mile

Depending on the weather ... if it's warm do half of the Cabin Loop. If it's cooler go to Reavis Ranch.
I'm not sure what my spirit animal is, but I'm confident it has rabies.

Also if you can do a shuttle and it cools off the Highline Trail near Payson is nice, I'd recommend the eastern half, starting at 260. Horton Springs is about 10 miles, I think, each way.
