I am wondering if anyone has had this done?
And if so is it worth it.

Re: Stem Cell
It's not FDA approved, but you can use your own fat cells as stem cells. Just ask Rick Perry. I'm not sure if they can do it with ankles.

Re: Stem Cell
Y'all have a place right there in Phoenix - I considered it for my hearing loss - they just aren't there yet for that. From what I was able to research - they have had some good success for spinal injuries - not sure specifically what you are looking for tho.

Re: Stem Cell
Unless the procedure has been thoroughly tested and is FDA approved, I would stay as far away as possible. Otherwise, you are a guinea pig. Check out what happened to these women in Florida: https://www.nytimes.com/2017/03/15/heal ... tions.html

Re: Stem Cell
Wow - that is a HUGE bummer for those ladies - I personally even tho you are definitely seeking a solution would be very wary of undergoing anything - if what happened to those ladies happens to you then you are minus a wheel. That ain't no good. There is a website out there - will see if I can dig it up that details what government sponsored trials are being conducted and when.
This is the place I researched the heck out of when I was thinking of going the Stem Cell route - https://www.the-stem-cell-center.com/co ... onfee.html - What i appreciated was the fact they were upfront and honest WHEN I asked the correct questions - BUT you have to know what to ask - they won't volunteer any negative information - they are trying to get your business after all. This is the site I used to get informed - http://www.closerlookatstemcells.org/st ... hat-to-ask - take a spin on this site as they do have good info there. This is from the same site and is really good - http://www.closerlookatstemcells.org/st ... treatments
Here is the one that kinda sorta leads you to the what and when of trials - https://ipscell.com/find-a-clinical-trial/
Good luck and ask a million and ten questions - there is no such thing as a magic bullet as I found out the hard way.
