Mountain House recall of Spicy Southwest Breakfast Hash

Post by Al_HikesAZ »

The U.S. Dept. of Agriculture announced Tuesday that it ordered a recall of a Mountain House freeze dried storage food declaring it a “high” health risk to consumers, and the effort a Class 1 recall. . . .For the moment, it appears that only one product in question is the “Spicy Southwest Breakfast Hash,” and a company representative said the company has reached out to customers.

Thanks for the info, I may have one. A while back there was a corned beef hash that came in a foil pack that was available from Safeway and it was also recalled. Backpacking and bike camping usually MREs and or dried food. Large tent or Jumping Jack camper and I set up the field kitchen, it's Dutch oven time.
