I'm an advocate of paper maps. If you don't already have one, there is a Forest Service map available for that ranger district, which is very helpful in finding your way around all the various roads. If it's not private property I would guess you can park wherever there's a wide spot in the road. https://www.fs.usda.gov/main/coronado/maps-pubs It's been a long time (20 years) since I did any hiking down that way but as I recall it was pretty wide-open, lots of places to pull off and park. Hiked Candelerio Peak and then drove a little and hiked Ashburn Peak.

If you view this track in Satellite view, you can clearly see the Red Mountain lookout tower is located in peak 6373', just West Northwest of Red Mountain 5847.

I would suggest googling it and deciding if a holistic health, organic, veganic, live-food eco-spiritual community is your cup o' tea.
I'm personally considering the Women's Hormonal Wellness Retreat.
