Flat long hikes

Post by RowdyandMe »

Well it looks like I may be having surgery again. And I asked my doctor about hiking and pretty much said I need to do it on flat areas no Peak climbing.
So I am looking for suggestions.
Thanks

Thanks everyone for the great input.
Looking forward to a few of these hikes while my shoulder heals.

SanTans have rolling but mostly smooth trails within the park with the treat of a crested saguaro or two. Aravaipa, entered via Klondike, is wet but smooth hiking for a bit. I wouldn't do it as a thru hike to Winkleman with an injury, just in and back with a look at the conglomerate walled Hell's Hole Canyon. The Paria from White House to Lonely Dell/ Lees Ferry is wet but doable, especially for hikers with complaining knees.
