First AZT backpack

Post by regenerator »

Planning NOBO mid-March 2018. Thinking 10 days or so to get to Hidden Valley Ranch. Is that reasonable ? Can I get shuttle service for pick up there ? Any and all suggestion/ tips appreciated

Hidden Valley Ranch (FR 4062 in the databook) looks to be 92.5 miles from the southern terminus. I think that after one gets their trail legs 9 miles per day might be kind of lite. 10 days should be no problem, and there are plenty of places north of there to end, up to perhaps Pistol Hill or X-9 Ranch Road, if you want to keep going.
