What permits are needed to hike southbound from Utah border to Flagstaff?

The only permit that is needed is for backcountry camping in Grand Canyon NP.

And you need a permit if you plan to stay at Manning Camp or Grass Shack in the Rincons. If you hike right through them - no permit needed. Same with the GC. If you do R2R in a day - no permit needed.
