Parking in Safford for a week or so

I'll be hiking a segment of the Grand Enchantment Trail in a few weeks--specifically Aravaipa Canyon to Safford. If I can park my vehicle in Safford, I have a shuttle to the start arranged. Does anyone have any suggestions for possible places to park in Safford for a week? I'm not looking for anything fancy, just a place where my vehicle won't get towed if it sits for a week.

1. The BLM office was a hard "no." And they also got a little snippy that someone would want to hike on something other than an official trail.
2. Walmart only allows parking for a single night.
3. I haven't been able to reach anyone at the Chamber of Commerce to see if they allow parking (this is one of the options suggested in the GET materials).

Where else should I check? Has anyone had any luck parking anywhere?

I don't see why you couldn't park it at my house ... let me check with my neighbor/boss, and I'll let you know.
