Anyone out here planning on being at/leaving South Bass Trailhead May 2nd, 3rd or 4th?
Jamie and I will have just finished our 3 week vacation and should be hiking out SB the 2nd or 3rd.
We have reservations at ET on the 4th.
We really don't want to hike the old boundary road back to the village...so it anyone already has.plans to be leaving from there those days we'd gladly buy you drinks or dinner in Tusayan if you give us a lift from SB.
And yes, we know, we could call "so and so" for shuttle/transport... sometimes it's just easier if folks are already planning to be in the area ya know?
And also if we don't have a ride we've placed water caches along the boundary road so we are prepared for the extra distance....what's an extra 30 miles eh?

How much is the Hualapai fee nowadays? Seems to me that's one thing people will want to know.
