I have a permit for the Clear Creek area for 4 nights starting October 7th. This make a long day hiking in on Sunday and hiking out of Thursday Oct 11, about 9 miles with 4500' elevation gain. Note: **I do not have a permit for any of the other areas to break up this hike!** This also gives us 3 full days to explore along the Clear Creek trail, either exploring along the actual Clear Creek, or possibly a trip to Sumner Butte or Zoroaster Temple (turning this into a much more technical adventure). Also consider that you might have to carry some extra water. Note the trip could possibly be extended by a few days.
