@skatchkins
Just saw this story on the national news. That's a fast spin! Good way to separate red and white blood cells. :-) Glad she's OK.

Re: Squaw Peak Spinster
This was featured on local news last night. The taped report downplayed it by stating that the rescue personnel were trained to deal with the situation. The local anchor commented that while that may be true, the victim probably wasn't trained to deal with it.

Re: Squaw Peak Spinster
If I had a medical emergency that required a quick trip to the hospital, I would definitely prefer a luxury ride. But if I my timely arrival at the hospital gave me the care I needed (possibly saving my life?), I think I would overlook some discomfort I might have been subjected to along the way.
If I had paid for a sightseeing trip and got a ride like that, I wouldn't be as forgiving.

Re: Squaw Peak Spinster
Obviously under many circumstances getting rescued is better than not, but that rate of spinning could be fatal in itself under some conditions. Hopefully it's a rare occurrence.chumley wrote:If I had a medical emergency that required a quick trip to the hospital, I would definitely prefer a luxury ride.
