South Mountain: Pima Canyon TH

Post by The_Dude »

Howdy all, I got in a hike today starting from the Pima Canyon TH, and they had signs up about it being closed for a remodel. They are having it closed from August 7th until the end of fall for improvements. Certainly many other trailheads that could be used, but I know this one is popular.

Effective Oct 15th, the Pointe South Mountain HOA is restricting parking along 48th St north and east of the trailhead entrance. Only HOA residents with a sticker will be allowed to park along the east side of the road, and no parking at all will be permitted along the west side of the road.

It would not surprise me to see additional parking restrictions on the streets within that particular HOA at some point.
Stop crying and just go do the hike.
