Well, I for one am glad that the proper authorities are keeping us safe from the natural world! You never know when some vicious bloodthirsty and possibly lusty predator may pounce upon us when we dared to venture out from our civilized environs. This truly is a heroic measure taken on our part.

Must have been a Mom and 2 Cubs. Adults would never congregate and share a meal like that. What a shame. Will be interesting to hear what actually killed the person.

In one of the earlier reports when they initially found the body, the person had been missing for over a week. When the police tried to ping their phone all they got was the phone was somewhere within three miles of Oracle & Magee (the trailhead is off of Magee about a mile and a half away). First reports are that the person is from out of state and had made suicidal threats in the past. Will probably get confirmation of that at some point.

An arrest has been made, I think just for the theft of the victim's car (so far). It could go beyond that.
