Exploring Mazatzal Wilderness

Post by mr_squishy »

I have a high clearance 4wd van and I'm looking for a trailhead/area in the Mazatzals where I might base camp for a few days and do day hikes and/or 1-4 day backpacking trips. My hope is to ideally park once and hike for five or six days. The more remote the better. I am looking at guidebooks, maps, and this site, but would appreciate any insights and suggestions.
