Is there a road to Hope Camp?
I want to leave my car there but can’t seem to find a road there.
I am looking to leave my car there and shuttle to Colossal Cave park and hike back to my car.

@RowdyandMe
You can park your car at the Camilo Loma Alta trailhead which is about 2 miles west of Hope Camp. I believe you are supposed to have a Saguar National Park pass to park there.

If you take Rowdy, Please check and see if dogs are allowed in CCMP; dogs are defiantly not permitted in SNP.

Re: Is there a road to Hope Camp?
It would depend on the route. Defiantly not in SNP , unless on the paved roadway. Unsure about CCMP, nothing on the website, always best to call.
My response was prompted by the Ethics thread, at the lowest level, dogs, stock,having proper permits, campfires, sure there are others.
I am trying to do better and be an ethical hiker.

Rowdy is allowed everywhere. He’s a service dog.
I'm not sure what my spirit animal is, but I'm confident it has rabies.

Re: Is there a road to Hope Camp?
Why not just phone a SNP ranger and avoid the drama if you really want to follow the rules?

From what I found out dogs are allowed on passage 8 but not on passage 9 which connects to passage 8

Re: Is there a road to Hope Camp?
Good to go. As you noted in an earlier post hiking with dogs can be complicated in Baja Arizona.
