Mahogany Fire -- Mount Charleston Peak NV
While this isn't AZ, I know that some members of this site enjoy hiking to Charleston Peak, just outside of Las Vegas...unfortunately a fire started there this afternoon, and it is currently at 5,000 acres: https://inciweb.nwcg.gov/incident/6811/
Civilization is a nice place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there

@DixieFlyer Luckily it’s burning in some of the lower elevations and (so far) moving east. Been really windy there all day. That poor mountain range seems to catch it every few years.
Stop crying and just go do the hike.

It supposedly started at the Mahogany Grove Campground, which is a little East of Mummy Mountain. Inciweb says that the fire is moving to the east, so I would think that it is moving away from Charleston
