Not a hike - I didn't even know where to put this ... nor do I even know what to say.

The old Yankee Stadium's Center field used to be refereed to as "Death Valley". That's the only other National Park for batting practice I know.

A long time ago a guy caught a ball dropped from the top of the Washington Monument.
https://timesmachine.nytimes.com/timesm ... geNumber=4 . I remember reading somewhere that he lost a couple teeth. More recently Gronk caught a football dropped 600' from a helicopter
https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/313 ... foot-catch . I can imagine (well actually I can't) that a ball hit from the rim caught by his accomplice (preferably in a moving dory) would generate a lot of "likes".

Hmm, I don't know, but would the Grand Canyon be considered "Off the green way and into the rough"?

Golf balls I've heard of before - but never baseballs.

They should have made him fetch all the balls.
