I post this most every year and get few to no takers but I forgot a water jug down near the border this past weekend. Hate to litter and the place it is is not likely to see use. I'll be going down this upcoming Saturday the 23rd. PM me if interested. Meet up probably at Pena Blanca lake turn off area, outside Nogales. Supposed to rain but of course that will change 20 times before Sat.
Bring your HC 4wd vehicle. Just in case. There will be some hiking just not sure yet where.

Re: Invitation-- to the border
As much as I would really want to do this, I would have to close my biz and leave my wife and dog at home and drive all the way there and back. I would miss my dog.
Seriously it would be cool.

I am retired from my day job but it's best for me to keep my mom on a schedule if possible, so most of my outdoors stuff still on weekends.

@DixieFlyer
Sure, if we find some. Usually when you are looking for that is when you don't find it. But my water jug is near the wall so who knows?? I could point out some worthy summits for you tho--

@RedRoxx44
I just got back from a 4,300 mile road trip, so I wanted to stay close to home this weekend. There are a few peaks that I'd like to check out in that area: Fraguito, San Cayetano, and the Tumacacori Mountains highpoint. Have you been to any of those?

Re: Invitation-- to the border
Fraguito yes, walk up some brush not too bad but it's been a long time; and Tumacacori, not San Cayetano. Don't remember much on Tumacacori approach, took me longer than it should have, I remember lots of pretty rocks. Again a long time ago, eh probably 15 years ago for each.
