What's the story on the Story Mine trail?
I presume that the AZT volunteers have enough to do on the AZT itself. So they don't maintain ancillary trails off the AZT, like the trail to the Story Mine?
Be careful. It really is "a jungle out there."

Re: What's the story on the Story Mine trail?
I hiked from Mormon Grove to McFarland Canyon the other day. On the way, I saw the sign post showing the break off of Trail #91 to the Story Mine.
I didn't have the energy to try it. But later I heard from the AZT Steward for that passage. He reports that there's not much left of the Mine. And that the trail is hard to follow.
So I suppose that they don't maintain it. And that I didn't miss much.
